Talius Expands Hato Hone St John Partnership into Metlifecare Villages
Talius Group Limited has announced an important expansion of its partnership with Hato Hone St John in New Zealand, extending the Talius One Platform into Metlifecare’s retirement village network.
The partnership will initially support three newly constructed Metlifecare villages located in Rototuna, Mangawhai, and Wānaka. Through this deployment, Hato Hone St John will provide 24/7 remote emergency response services, while Talius will deliver the technology integration that connects existing nurse call systems into a centralised monitoring platform.
A key feature of the rollout is Talius’ Stratix Integration Module, which allows existing Miracle and Austco nurse call systems to connect with the Talius One Platform. This means operators can modernise emergency response and oversight without needing to replace installed infrastructure.
For Metlifecare, one of New Zealand’s largest retirement village and aged care operators, the partnership supports a more connected and scalable approach to resident safety. For Talius, it demonstrates the growing relevance of its platform across the aged care and retirement living sector, particularly as providers look for flexible ways to digitise workflows, improve responsiveness, and strengthen operational visibility.
The initial deployment also establishes a foundation for potential expansion across Metlifecare’s wider portfolio of 37 villages across New Zealand. This could create further opportunities for Talius as demand grows for enterprise-grade aged care technology that can integrate with existing systems.
The announcement follows Talius’ broader work with Hato Hone St John, including recent deployments linked to New Zealand’s transition away from 3G-based emergency systems. Together, these initiatives highlight the increasing need for reliable, connected care technology that supports both resident safety and provider efficiency.
