Foresite Depth Sensors

The Foresite Depth Sensor units have the capability of producing a three dimensional image of their field of view using structured light calculations in the near infrared spectrum.

The depth sensor is used mainly for fall detection, fall risk assessment and rewind and review in both Eldercare and Patientcare, but also for other functions such as bed exit alerts in combination with other sensors.

In addition, some models include thermal imaging in the long infrared range superimposed on the three dimensional near infrared image.

The thermal imaging helps with fall detection and extraction of parameters used for fall risk assessment.
